Robert Lewandowski was born in Warsaw, Poland, and grew up in Leszno, a suburb of the capital. He began his football journey with local club Partyzant Leszno before joining MKS Varsovia Warsaw's youth system in 1997. After seven years, he moved to Delta Warsaw, where he made his senior debut. His prolific scoring in Poland's lower divisions caught the attention of top-tier clubs. In 2006, he joined Znicz Pruszków, becoming the top scorer in the Polish third and second divisions in consecutive seasons. This success led to a move to Lech Poznań in 2008, where he won the Polish Cup and Ekstraklasa title.

Borussia Dortmund (2010–2014)

In 2010, Lewandowski signed with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund under coach Jürgen Klopp.He played a crucial role in Dortmund's back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2010–11 and 2011–12 and their DFB-Pokal win in 2011–12.Lewandowski gained international recognition during the 2012–13 UEFA Champions League, notably scoring four goals against Real Madrid in the semi-finals.Dortmund reached the final but lost to Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich in 2014 on a free transfer. FC Barcelona (2022–Present)

In July 2022, Lewandowski transferred to FC Barcelona for €45 million. In the 2024–25 season, he scored 42 goals in 52 matches, helping Barcelona win the domestic treble: La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España.
